This magnificent cat also belongs to Barb and here is what she has to say about him:
"Here is my Bonnie Prance Charlie. Isn't he a gorgeous boy? He came to live with Perseus an me when he was 2 so things haven't perfect between him and the spoiled "only cat", Perseus. He had another name when he came to me but it simply didn't suit him. He got his current name because 1. he's very bonnie, 2. he prances when you pet him and 3. he answered when I called him Charlie.
He loves to go outside at the cottage (which is where he is in this picture) and has proved to be quite the hunter, catching two mice this year (I made him let them go). He also brings in pigeon feathers from the balcony like they were whole birds. I'm sure if he weren't confined to the (enclosed) balcony, he would keep the pigeons away from my airspace single handed.
He is a gentle, loving soul, though, and follows me around from room to room (both he and Perseus are part Maine Coon and have this dog-like trait of the breed) just to be near me. They are a great pair to come home to!"
