Here is my birthday surprise. His name is Badger and he is a 6 month old Border Terrier, my favorite small dog breed. He stands about 12 inches high and is a delight. So far, so good on the training. He can sit and lay down, which I think he learned from me. Certainly the latter, when I am home. He is a grand distraction in the midst of it all, and a good pal already.
