Jen sent us this fantastic photo and heart warming tale...
"I have a 9 year old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Her name is Tipper. In May 2009, she ran away during a thunderstorm. We live out in the country, so there was the usual concern about traffic, but also about wolves, coyotes, porcupines, fishers, etc. :0/ We flooded the area with flyers, posters, and email trains, asking for help finding her. 24 days after she ran away, a farmer found her in his barn. She had lost 10 of 32 lbs. and was covered in fleas, but pretty well unharmed other than being starved.
She bounced back surprisingly quickly. I’ve attached a photo of her that was taken a month after her return. She’s an amazing creature. I count my blessings every single day that she was found and is back in our sphere."
Thanks so much Jen, we love to hear about lost dogs that are found. Excellent shot of her "caught in flight"!
